Agrawal Order On Board 29/11/2019 (1) Learned counsel appearing for the parties would submit that the petitioner has already been granted privilege of parole by order dated 29.11.2019 and, therefore, no cause of

action survives for consideration.

(2) In view of aforesaid submission, the writ petition stands disposed of. No cost(s).

(3) It is stated at the bar that similarly situated 35 applications for parole filed by the convicted persons are pending consideration in the District of Janjgir-Champa. (4) Shri Siddiqui, learned Dy. Advocate General, on instructions, submits that the aforesaid applications will be considered and decided strictly in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of two weeks from today in view of the decision rendered by this Court in the matter of Rakesh Shende v. State of Chhatisgarh & others1. (5) The aforesaid statement is placed on record.

(6) Copy of this order be sent to the District Magistrate, Janjgjir-Champa for compliance and needful.

(7) It is made clear that after the said applications is decided, information to this effect will be brought to this Court by filing action taken report.
