2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had appeared up to Second Semester Examination of BA LLB Course, however, he has not yet cleared two papers of First Semester and one paper of Second Semester Examination, but despite that in view of the amended ordinance pertaining to Declaration of Semester Examination Results up to Six Semester particularly clause (ii) thereof, the petitioner is entitled to be promoted and permitted to appear in the Third Semester

Examination.

3. Let the petitioner move a representation before the respondent-University within a week and thereafter, the University shall decide the representation within next 2 weeks.

4. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the respondent authorities shall decide the matter, on its own merits, strictly in accordance with law without treating any observation made in this order as opinion on the merits of the case.
