Counsel for the petitioner makes an oral request for correction in the cause title of the writ petition so far as the status of respondent no.2 is concerned.

The oral request is not opposed.

Accordingly, the oral request is accepted. Let necessary amendment be carried out during the course of the day.

The petitioner, through the present writ petition, makes a limited prayer for a direction to the respondents to decide the representation of
the petitioner for correction of date of birth in his service record which till date has not been decided.

Counsel for the respondents did not have any objection for this. 6.
Given the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, in addition to the representation that he has already made, make a fresh representation to respondents 2 & 3 who in turn shall consider and decide the same in accordance with the rules and regulations governing the issue of date of birth so far as the respondent establishment is concerned. Let this exercise be completed within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of representation of the petitioner along with the order passed by this Court.
