1. Heard.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner has been transferred in the year 2018 to the Horticulture department Sukma and the petitioner is going to retire on 30.09.2020 thereby only less than one year is left in the retirement of the petitioner. It is stated that as per clause 2.10 of the policy, the government officials who are due for retirement within a period of one year he may request

for transfer in his hometown.

Perusal of the document would show that it is not in dispute that the petitioner is going to retire on 30.09.2020 as such less than one year is left in his retirement and as per clause 2.10 of the transfer policy the petitioner can be considered for posting in his hometown. Taking into such fact, it is directed that the petitioner is given liberty to file representation before the respondent No.1 in this regard within a period of three weeks and on such representation being filed, the said respondent shall decide the same within a further period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of the representation.
