Counsel for the petitioner, on a query being put, fairly submits that the advertisement has already been acted upon and the selected candidates have also been granted appointment. She submits that in the subsequent recruitment the petitioner had also participated but he could not succeed.

Given the said fact, this court is of the opinion that the matter has become infructuous.

Accordingly, The writ petition stands dismissed as having become infructuous.
