1. The petitioner through the present writ petition has claimed for a relief for a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for grant of higher pay scale in the light of the decision of this Court rendered in the case of "Mukesh Kumar Patel and another Vs. State of Chhattisgarh and another" (WPS No. 2530 of 2017).

2. Perusal of the record would show that the petitioner has not completed the minimum required 8 years of service for the benefit of obtaining the higher pay scale.

3. Thus, the present writ petition in its present form at this stage is not sustainable. Reserving the right of the petitioner to approach the authorities concerned, immediately on his completing 8 years of service and the authorities concerned, shall thereafter consider and decide the claim of the petitioner.
