1. Heard.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner is due for retirement on July, 2020, and he has been transferred from Assistant Conservator of Forest, Durg to Assistant Conservator of Forest, Khairagarh, vide order dated 23.08.2019. It is stated that as per the policy the petitioner is only left with about 8-9 months. It is stated that as per clause 2.10 of the policy, the State Government officials who are due for retirement within a period of one year, he may request for transfer in his hometown.

3. Perusal of the document would show that the petitioner is going to retire soon in a period of less than a year. Since, less than a year is left for his retirement and as per clause 2.10 of the transfer policy the petitioner can be considered for posting in his hometown. Taking into such fact, it is directed that the petitioner shall be at liberty to make a representation along with all the relevant documents before the concerned respondent within three weeks from today and on such representation being filed, the said respondent shall decide the same within a further period of 60 days. Till then, the transfer in respect of the petitioner shall not be given effect to, if it has not been carried out till date.
