The present MCC has been filed seeking restoration of WPS No. 5500/2016 on 17/09/2018.

The contention of the counsel for the applicant is that, though the Writ Petition was dismissed as having become infructuous on the ground that the petitioner has crossed the age of superannuation at that point of time, however, the Writ Petition has sought for a relief so far as expunging certain adverse remarks and entries that has not been dealt with and that could have a detrimental effect on the career prospects o the petitioner for his future assignment.

The contents stated in the MCC are satisfactory and convincing making out a strong case for restoration of the Writ Petition. 4.

Accordingly, the instant MCC stands allowed.

As a consequence, the Writ Petition i.e. WPS No. 5500/2016 stands restored to its original number.

No order as to costs.
