Hon'ble Shri Justice Rajendra Chandra Singh Samant Order on Board 17-12-2019 Heard.

1. This petition has not been brought against any specific order passed by the Court below. The only prayer in this petition is for issuance of direction to expedite the trial.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed a Civil Suit, which is registered as 83-B/2015 before the Court of Ninth Additional District Judge, Durg, C.G. It is also submitted that the respondents/defendants are making use of delaying tactics by filing various interlocutory applications and also by seeking adjournments for cross-examination of the plaintiff witnesses. Therefore, the suit is

-2pending for almost 4 years and no progress has been recorded. Hence, it is prayed that the direction may be issued.

3. After perusal of the copy of order sheets filed along with the petition, I am of this view that there is a necessity of expediting the trial, therefore, this petition is disposed off at motion stage. The learned trial Court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial preferably within a period of six months.
