1. Heard.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the order of payment of gratuity is already passed in favour of the petitioner and the petitioner has filed an application for execution of the award, therefore, the authority may be directed to ensure the execution within a short period of time.

3. Considering the fact that already the award has been passed in favour of the petitioner and unless the award is executed the fruits of the order remain ineffective. Under the circumstances, it is directed that the respondent controlling authority under the Payment of Gratuity Act shall expedite the execution proceeding so that the recovery certificate of the amount of gratuity may be eventually recovered and paid to the petitioner as early as possible.
