Petitioner along with two other individuals had preferred WPS No.2086/2017 seeking direction to consider their cases for appointment on compassionate ground. The writ petition was disposed of vide order (Annexure-P-1) on 17.05.2017. Thereafter, two other petitioners namely, Balram Patel and Chandrakanta Gautam have been provided appointment on compassionate ground after issuance of succession certificate by the concerned Collector, however, petitioner's prayer for issuance of succession certificate is pending consideration before the respondent No.2

and due to this pendency, her case for compassionate appointment has not been considered despite there being an order by the Writ Court.

Considering the limited prayer made in the writ petition, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition directing the respondent No.2 Collector, Baloda Bazar-Bhatapara to decide the petitioner's application for grant of succession certificate in respect of petitioner's entitlement to obtain compassionate appointment, at the earliest, preferably within a period of 3 months from today.
