The grievance of the petitioner in the instant Writ Petition is the inaction on part of the respondents in not settling the dues which were payable to the petitioner on the death of his father who died in harness on 20/01/2018. 2.

According to the counsel for the petitioner, the respondents were supposed to immediately release the G.P.F. amount, Gratuity, Group Insurance as also the Earned Leave Encashment which were in the credit of

the deceased employee, but none of these dues have been released. On the contrary the respondents have made a recovery from the petitioner to the tune of Rs. 55,839/- on account of certain adjustment of payment made to the deceased employee.

In the given facts this Court is of the opinion that, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the Writ Petition pending, rather ends of justice would meet if the Writ Petition is disposed off with a direction to the respondents No. 3, 4 & 5 to immediately process the claims of the deceased employee and shall make all necessary payments to the legal heirs of the deceased employee subject to verification as per rules and regulation. 4.

Let this exercise be completed within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
