The challenge in the present writ petition is the order dated 12.10.2018 passed by the respondent No. 4.

Considering the fact that the recruitment was for a period of one year i.e. for the academic session 2018-2019, this Court is of the opinion that by efflux of time, the writ petition has rendered infructuous.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of as having become infructuous.

However, in the event, if the respondents initiate any fresh recruitment for guest faculty, the respondents shall consider the past service rendered by the petitioner as a guest faculty from 2010 to 2017. Sd/- (P. Sam Koshy) JUDGE Jyotijha
