The writ petition was filed seeking for direction from the respondents to provide Electricity Connection to the petitioners. 2.

Counsel for the respondents now by filing reply have stated that since certain arrears were to be paid, the connection could not be supplied. The Petitioners now have deposited the entire arrears, accordingly the respondents shall now proceed further with the request of the petitioners for grant of connection, subject to the petitioners fulfilling the other requisite formalities to be completed.

Given the said submission by the counsel for the respondents which has not been disputed by the Counsel for the petitioners, this Court is of the opinion that nothing further remains to be adjudicated in the present writ petition.

It is expected that subject to the petitioner completing/fulfilling the requisite formalities, the respondents shall process their claim at the earliest.
