1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was suspended on 22.03.2019 on the ground that criminal case has been registered against him under the Representation of the People Act, 1951. It is stated that seven months have been passed, however, according to Rule 9 of CCA Rules, 1966 more than 45 days the petitioner cannot be suspended. He further submits that representation has been filed and

respondents may be directed to decide the same.

2. In view of the submission made and considering the limited prayer made to decide the representation of the petitioner. It is directed that the respondents shall decide the representation of the petitioner within 45 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. It is further made clear that Court has not made any observation on the merits of the case.
