The grievance of the petitioner in the instant Writ Petition is that the case of the petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment is pending consideration before the authorities concerned and no final decision has been taken by the respondents.

Without entering into the merits of the case and without expressing any opinion so far as the entitlement of the petitioner is concerned, this Court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet if the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.3 to take a decision at the earliest in

accordance with the rules and schemes pertaining to compassionate appointment within a period of 60 days from today. 3.
