Challenge in the present writ petition is to the order dated 9.8.2019 passed by respondent no.3.

Vide the said order, the respondent-University has imposed a punishment of cancelling the previous examination of the petitioner on account of his using unlawful means in the examination conducted, and directed the petitioner to appear in the next full examination of the next semester. 3.

Going through the records, it does not appear that the order passed by the respondent-University is, in any manner, illegal, arbitrary or contrary to the rules and guidelines applicable in the respondent-university. The respondent-university had constituted a committee in respect of use of improper means, under Paragraph 36 of the Ordinance No.26 of the Universities Act. The said committee after due scrutiny of the case of the petitioner had recommended for cancelling his examination of the first semester and directed him to appear in the next examination afresh.

Given the entire facts and circumstances of the case, this Court does not find any good or strong ground made out by the petitioner calling for an interference with the impugned order.
