The limited grievance which the petitioner raised in the present writ petition is that the father of the petitioner died in harness on 18/03/2013. The petitioner had immediately moved an application for grant of compassionate appointment but till date no final orders have been passed by the department neither have the department till date rejected the claim of the petitioner. 2.

State counsel submits that in course of the processing of the claim of the petitioner certain information were sought from the petitioner and thereafter whether the petitioner has furnished those details is not known. 3.

Given the facts subject to the petitioner completing the requisite formalities as has been put forth by the department, let the department take a final decision so far as the claim of the petitioner is concerned within an outer limit of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.
