The relief sought for the by the petitioner through this writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to consider and decide the claim for compassionate appointment moved by the petitioner on the death of his father.

According to the petitioner he has been repeatedly moving to the authorities concerned but till date they have not taken any final decision on his claim application.

Given the aforesaid factual matrix of the case, this Court does not intend to keep the matter pending rather ends of justice would be served if the respondent No. 2 is directed to decide the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment at the earliest preferably within a period of sixty days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion so far as the entitlement of the petitioner is concerned. The respondent authorities shall decide the claim of the petitioner only in case if he is entitled for the same in accordance with the rules. 5.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands disposed off. 6.

No order as to costs.
