1. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the property belonging to the petitioner in respect of Khasra No. 559/1/(x)/1 situated at village Khamtarai, P.C. No.17, Tahsil & District Bilaspur has never been acquired by the State Government by initiating any acquisition proceeding. However, the said land in the revenue records is being reflected as government land.
2. The State counsel submits that if at all, if the property belongs to the petitioner and inadvertently in the revenue records it is being shown as government land, the petitioner would be at liberty to approach the concerned revenue authorities for necessary corrections in accordance with the provisions of Rule 116 of the Chhattisgarh Land Revenue Code for the same.
3. Given the submission by the State counsel that the property of the petitioner has not been acquired, this Court is of the opinion that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending at this juncture, rather ends of justice would meet if the writ petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to approach the concerned authorities under the provisions of Chhattisgarh Land Revenue Code for necessary correction in the revenue records by producing necessary documents in support of her contentions.
4. With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
