The present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging noncompliance of the order dated 24.8.2018 passed by this Court in WPS No. 5419 of 2008.

The respondents entering appearance have enclosed a copy of order dated 11.12.2018 as also the order dated 31.12.2019. The two orders show that the directions given by this Court for a retrospective promotion to the petitioner has been acted upon and they have also reconsidered the monetary benefits that the petitioner would get after his retirement. In the course of verification, they found that the petitioner already had reached the maximum of the lower post and therefore there was no any change so far as the pensionary benefits which the petitioner was receiving.

Given the said reply and the documents enclosed along with the reply, this Court is of the view that the order passed by this Court stands complied with. 4.

If at all, if the petitioner finds that the person who is retired along with the petitioner on the post of Deputy Forest Ranger and there is a difference of pension and pensionary benefits, the petitioner would be at liberty to raise a fresh demand to the department as well as he would also be at liberty to approach the Court afresh.
