1. The claim of the petitioner in the present writ petition is for grant of compassionate appointment.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that the father of the petitioner was working with the respondents and who died in harness on 05.04.2015. Subsequently, the petitioner had moved an application for compassionate appointment. The said application has till date not been finalized.

3. Though the counsel appearing for the respondents points to certain annexures, which are based on the police report, whereby the contention is that the father of the petitioner had obtained the employment by playing fraud/impersonation and therefore the petitioner has not been considered.

4. On a query being put to the counsel for the respondents, he fairly submits that the case of the petitioner till date has not been rejected by a specific order passed in this regard.

5. Given the said facts, the writ petition itself is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.2 to take a decision at the earliest by passing a speaking order, particularly taking note of the subsequent developments and the steps taken by the management in that regard.

6. Let this exercise be concluded within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order.

7. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands disposed off.
