The challenge in the instant Writ Petition is to the order of transfer dated 06/10/2018 whereby the services of the petitioner has been transferred from Janjgir-Champa to Surajpur on the post of Deputy Director, Veterinary Services.

The contention of the counsel for the petitioner is that, the petitioner has been made District Nodal Officer and has been assigned to supervise the census work of 20th Livestock Census Programme and there are specific instructions from the Central Government not to transfer any of these Nodal Officers in between during the census work. He further contended that, the order of transfer dated 06/10/2018 has been recently served upon the

petitioner which had led to the late filing of the Writ Petition. He further submits that, the petitioner's son is undergoing 10th Board Examination which is to commence from 06th of March and therefore at this juncture if he is shifted to a different place, the education of the son of the petitioner would also get adversely affected and therefore he prays that the petitioner may be protected atleast for the present academic session. 3.

Given the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner make a detailed representation to the respondent No.1 within a period of 2 week from today and on such representation being made, the respondent No.1 shall decide the same taking into consideration the facts and circumstances which are narrated in the representation including the fact that the petitioner is in the process of census work and is the Nodal Officer for the 20th Livestock Census Programme, moreover his son also sitting in the 10th Board Examination to be held on 06th of March. 4.

It is ordered that till the representation of the petitioner is decided by the respondent No.1, the effect and operation of the impugned order dated 06/10/2018 shall not be given effect to so far as the petitioner is concerned. 5.

The authorities concerned shall also take note of the fact that, the person who would be relieving the petitioner should also be relieved only after the representation of the petitioner is decided. 6.
