1. The grievance of the petitioners in the present writ petition is the inaction on the part of the respondents for not registering the names of the petitioners for the purpose of selling of their paddy for the Kharif season 2019-20 at minimum support price.

2. All the petitioners had well in time submitted their applications for registration duly filled after completing all the requisite formalities and criteria. The petitioners were under the bona fide belief that there names have been registered. When the petitioners approached

-2the respondents, they were informed that they can not sell their paddy as their names are not registered.

3. Counsel for the petitioners submits that the reason for not registration of the names of the petitioners inspite of completing all the formalities by the petitioners has not been intimated by the respondents, neither have they intimated the petitioners that their applications for registration has been rejected.

4. At this juncture, Shri V.R. Tiwari, Addl. A.G., submits that the petitioners have already made their representation to respondents No. 3 & 4 which is pending consideration and therefore the authorities be directed to decide the same in accordance with the guildlines governing the field.

5. Given the said submission by the Counsel for the respondents, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents No. 3 and 4 to take a decision on the representation made by the petitioners so far as the registration of their names not being done by the respondents is concerned. Let this exercise be completed within a period of 10 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6. The writ petition accordingly stands disposed of. 7.
