The limited relief sought for by the petitioner in this petition is for a direction to respondent No.2 to take appropriate decision on the application filed by the petitioner praying for exhumation of the body of saint Hazrat Syeed Umarkot Wala Baba and praying them to shift the exhumed body to Raipur.

According to the petitioner, the said application is pending consideration for quite sometime and that there is also likelihood of law and order situation getting disturbed between two groups within the same community, and therefore, early decision is expected from the respondent No.2.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet if the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.2 to take a decision on the pending application of the petitioner at the earliest preferably within a period of 30 days from today.

This court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case. The authority is free to decide it in accordance with law. 5.
