Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order On Board 05.12.2019
1. The limited relief that the petitioner has sought in the present writ petition is for an appropriate direction to the respondent no.4 to take an early decision on the case pending before respondent no.4 i.e. Case No.19/2018-19 (State Vs. Sukaluram).
2. According to the petitioner, the said case was registered on the
complaint lodged by the petitioner. The respondent no.4, after proceeding further with the case, has not given any further date beyond 31.08.2019 and even on 31.08.2019, there was no sitting held by the respondent no.4.
3. Given the limited grievance that the petitioner has, this Court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet if the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.4 to take a decision in the said case at the earliest preferably within a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
4. The writ petition accordingly stands disposed of. Sd/- P. Sam Koshy Judge Khatai
