1. Heard.

2. The limited prayer of the petitioners is that the the petitioners on account of the death of their parents, who were working in the erstwhile M.P.S.R.T.C., which was merged into the C.I.D.C., applied for compassionate appointment. The compassionate appointment was not granted to them as was given to the other children of the deceased government employees, therefore, the matter was time and again persuaded on the government level and by letter dated 30.07.2019 (Annexure P-1) a direction was given to the Managing Director, CIDC to convene a meeting in this regard so as to take a decision to grant compassionate appointment to the petitioners.

Learned counsel for the petitioners refers to the letter dated 08.08.2019 (Annexure P-2) which is a letter issued by the office of the Chief Minister of the Chhattisgarh State, wherein also the plight of the petitioners was considered and was sent for consideration. He would further submit that the limited prayer which is made at this stage is that to resolve the issue, the meeting of CIDC may be directed to be convened so that the proper decision may be arrived at in terms of the benevolent policy of the respondents.

After perusal of the document Annexure P-1, which is a letter issued by the Under Secretary, Chhattisgarh Finance Department, wherein a direction has been given to convene a meeting, which is also fortified by the subsequent letter of the office of the Chief Minister dated 08.08.2019, considering the same the CIDC is directed to convene necessary meeting for taking decision on the compassionate appointment of the petitioners within an outer frame work of 4 months from the date of receipt of this order.
