PUD has been received, which is a request letter from the Special Judge under POCSO Act, Bilaspur praying for extension of time for disposal of concerned case. This Court had by order dated 23.09.2019 in M.Cr.C. 6299 of 2019 had given a direction to the trial Court to conclude the trial within a period of two months. As mentioned in the PUD that the evidence of the prosecution is complete, however, the trial is pending because the defence evidence is yet to be recorded. Extension has been sought only for 15 days.

However, considering the grounds mentioned in the application, the prayer is allowed and the extension is granted for one month for concluding the trial.

Accordingly, PUD is disposed off.
