1. Heard.

2. In this case the petitioner while was Range Officer challenged the transfer order dated 05.10.2019 wherein he was shown to be transferred from Forest Range Officer, Baloda, Forest Division Janjgir-Champa to Forest Range Officer, Koyalibeda, Forest Range West Bhanupratappur.

3. It is contended that during the interregnum period the petitioner has been promoted to the post of Assistant Conservator Forest. In view of this, since the petitioner has already stood promoted, the State would be at liberty to pass the

orders of his appropriate posting and no adjudication can be made at this stage of his earlier post of transfer. In the facts of this case the petition has become infructous.

4. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed.
