Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's land has been acquired by the Collector, Raipur, but neither proceeding has been initiated nor compensation has been paid in that regard for which he has already made representation to the Collector, which has not been considered and decided till this date and, therefore direction may be issued to the said authority to decide the same expeditiously.

Prayer appears to be fair and reasonable.

Be that as it may, the Collector, Raipur is directed to consider and decide the petitioner's representation for grant of compensation in accordance with law, expeditiously within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to costs.
