The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking direction to the respondents to consider and decide the claim of the petitioner for compensation in the light of the order dated 30.10.2018 passed by the Division Bench of this court in WPC No.1649 of 2017. 2.

According to the petitioner, the High Court in the aforesaid writ petition i.e. WPC No.1649 of 2017 had ordered for payment of compensation applying the multiplier of 2. Therefore, the case of the petitioner be also considered accordingly.

Learned counsel for the State submits that the said order dated 30.10.2018 passed in WPC No.1649 of 2017 was subjected to review vide Review Petition No.190 of 2019. The said Review Petition came up for hearing on 12.12.2019 and on which date, the Review Petition of the State has been allowed and therefore, any further consideration of the

-2petitioner's claim would be in the light of the orders passed in Review Petition decided by the Division Bench of this High Court. 4.

Considering the aforementioned submissions made by the State counsel, this court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet if the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the authorities concerned and the respondent/State authorities shall consider and decide the claim of the petitioner in accordance with the order passed by the Division Bench of this High Court in WPC No.1649 of 2017 decided on 30.10.2018 and the subsequent Review Petition which stands decided on 12.12.2019 i.e. Review Petition No.190 of 2019.

Expecting the respondent authorities to take an early decision on the representation of the petitioner, the writ petition stands disposed of. Sd/- (P. Sam Koshy) Judge inder
