1. The grievance of the petitioners is that they were engaged as Cooks for preparation of mid-day meals under the mid-day meal Scheme and without framing proper working hours, the petitioners are required to work from early

morning to late evening on every working day. However, the petitioners are being paid meager sum of Rs.1500/- per month, therefore, the suitable remuneration may be fixed at par with the working hours.

2. Learned State Counsel submits that the petitioners may be allowed to make a representation to respondents 1 & 2 and on such representation being filed, the same may be decided taking into consideration the plight of the petitioners.

3. Considering the submission made, without any observation on merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction that if the petitioners make representation to respondents 1 & 2 canvassing their grievance within a period of 2 weeks, then the same may be considered and decided as early as possible preferably within a further period of four weeks.
