Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order on Board 07/01/2020 1.
The relief sought for by the petitioners in the present writ petition is for an appropriate direction to the revenue authorities for correction of the map. 2.
At the outset, this Court is not inclined to entertain the present writ petition for the reason that there is a specific provision under the Chhattisgarh Land Revenue Code, 1959 in respect of correction of map and the areas etc. 3.
Perusal of the pleadings of the writ petition does not show that the petitioners have approached the authorities concerned for the correction of the map.
4.
Given the said fact, this Court is reluctant to entertain the present writ petition. However, the right of the petitioners stands reserved for approaching the concerned authorities for correction of the map in accordance with the provisions of the Chhattisgarh Land Revenue Code, 1959.
5.
The writ petition accordingly stands disposed of. Sd/- (P. Sam Koshy) /sharad/ JUDGE
