Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order on Board 08.01.2020 1.

The limited grievance that the petitioners have, is in respect of non receiving the compensation for the land which has been acquired by the respondents for construction of road known as "Mangla-Bhaisajhar Project".

2.

According to the petitioners, they were owner of the land situated at Khasra numbers 833 and 1195/4, measuring 0.02 Acres, which has been acquired by the respondents without making any sort of compensation to the petitioners. The petitioners have already filed a representation in this regard to the respondent No.1 which till date is pending consideration. 3.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, particularly taking note of the contention of the petitioners that they have not been paid any

-2compensation for the land belonging to them which has been acquired, this court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet if the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents No.1&2 to verify the fact and decide the representation of the petitioners and in case if the petitioners are entitled for the compensation then appropriate steps be taken, and in case if compensation is not payable to the petitioners, they be intimated in this regard.

4.

Let this exercise be completed by the respondents No.1&2 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. Sd/- (P. Sam Koshy) Judge inder
