The present Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution on India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS) seeking issuance of a direction in the nature of Habeas Corpus to the respondents to produce and release the wife of the petitioner from the custody of respondent nos. 2 to 8.

proceedings virtually and states that she has voluntarily left the company of the petitioner and does not wish to stay with him. 4.
We also find from the writ petition that proceedings under the Protection of Women From Domestic Violence Act, 2005 have been instituted by the wife of the petitioner against the petitioner. 5.
Since wife of the petitioner is not ready to stay with him, no further directions are required. The petition is accordingly disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to avail the remedies in accordance with law.
