The present writ petition has been filed seeking restoration of the water supply/connection at Shop No. M-46, Block M, Connaught Place, New Delhi.

It is the contention of the petitioner that the water connection of the petitioner has been disconnected on account of a bonafide error made on part of the petitioner in the water connection application, wherein it is stated that the petitioner is the 'owner' of the said premises. 3.

Mr. Subhash C. Jindal, counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that this was a bonafide error and the petitioner is the tenant in the aforesaid premises. An unconditional apology is offered on behalf of the petitioner with regard to the said error.

confirms the position that the water connection was disconnected on account of a false statement made in the application as well as the affidavit filed by the petitioner.

In view of the apology being tendered on behalf of the petitioner, this Court is of the view that the respondents may take note of the fact that the petitioner is the tenant in the aforesaid premises and take steps for restoration of the water connection within one (1) week from today. 6.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
