A detailed order was passed in Court today, granting bail to the applicant. However, when the order was being finalized in the Chamber, it was realised that the prosecutrix has not been served with a notice of this application.

As the case inter-alia alleges offences under Section 370/376 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act, 2012, and Sections 4/5/6 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956, the service of notice on the victim was necessary before considering the present application. The order dictated in Court, therefore, is not pronounced, and instead, it is directed that the notice be served on the victim by the Investigating Officer, returnable on 18th March, 2024.
