By way of this writ petition, the petitioner seeks an order directing the police authorities to provide her protection, in view of the alleged threats by her estranged husband and mother-in-law [respondent Nos. 4 and 5 herein].

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has moved out of her matrimonial home, the address of which is provided in the memo of parties. She is residing at a different location, but wishes to visit her matrimonial home to collect her belongings. She apprehends a threat from respondent Nos. 4 and 5 during this process. 3.

Learned counsel, therefore, seeks a direction upon respondent Nos.1 to 3 to provide the petitioner with protection for the purpose of visiting her matrimonial home to collect her belongings. In view of the above submissions, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction that the contact details of the Station House Officer, P.S. Kanjhawala, Delhi - 110081, and the beat constable will be given to the petitioner. The petitioner may contact them prior to visiting the matrimonial home, and they will take necessary steps in the event of any exigencies.
