This is a petition seeking quashing of the orders dated 05.07.2024 and 01.10.2024 and direction to the respondent to consider the same as first and second spell of furlough instead of second and third spell of furlough.

The orders dated 05.07.2024 records that the petitioner is granted second spell of furlough for a period of 3 weeks and in the order dated 01.10.2024, it has been mentioned as third spell of furlough for two weeks.

It is stated by Mr. Baghel, learned counsel for the petitioner that the same is an error in the 2 orders as there was no first spell of furlough which was availed by the petitioner because the petitioner was unable to provide the surety bond when the petitioner was granted the first spell of furlough.

Mr. Lao, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent states that the correct procedure for the petitioner would be to make an appropriate representation to the concerned authorities and the same can be corrected by the authorities themselves, if required. 5.

In view of the above, the petition is disposed of directing the respondent to consider the present writ petition as a representation. 6.

The respondent shall dispose of the representation within 4 weeks from today.

The order will be communicated to the petitioner as well as the counsel.

In case the petitioner is aggrieved, the petitioner is at liberty to approach this Court.
