The Petitioner was appointed as Deputy Director (Group C) on 27th May, 2009 in the office of Respondent No. 6, Inspector General of Forests, and has been dismissed from service on 26th August, 2025. 2.

He lodged complaints alleging fraud, discrepancies and abuse of power by certain officers of FSI. Pursuant to these complaints, Office Memorandum1 dated 30th July, 2024 and 24th June, 2025 were issued by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (Vigilance Division), Government of India.

Article 226 of the Constitution seeking directions to the Respondents to take further action pursuant to the aforesaid OMs. 4.

Since the Respondents have already issued the OM and the concerned department has been requested to take appropriate action in accordance with the applicable rules, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the concerned Respondents to proceed further on the basis of the said OMs in accordance with law and as per the extant rules. 4.

It is, however, clarified that this Court has not examined the merits of the allegations made by the Petitioner. Nothing contained in this order shall be construed as an expression of opinion on the merits of the case. 5.

All rights and contentions of the parties are left open. 6.

Insofar as prayers related to Petitioner's dismissal from service is concerned, no such directions are being issued. If the Petitioner is aggrieved by the order of dismissal, it shall be open to him to avail of such remedies as may be available to him in law.

With the above direction, the present petition is disposed of along with pending application.
