W.P.(CRL) 35/2016 Present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a direction to respondent no.2 to produce her daughter before this Court; to provide security to the petitioner, her daughter and other family members; and take appropriate legal action against respondents no.3 and 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner and counsel for the State points out that the daughter of the petitioner had filed a Criminal Writ Petition, which is listed before a Single Judge of this Court, stating that she is residing with one, Mr.Prateek Bagga, and sought protection from her parents. Having regard to the fact that the Single Judge of this Court is seized of the matter and in any case since the daughter of the petitioner is a major, at this stage, as prayed, no further orders are required to be passed in this writ petition and the same is accordingly disposed of, however, should there be any fresh cause of action in future, it would be open for the petitioner to approach this Court.
