At the outset, the learned Additional Standing Counsel for the respondent submits that the application for the grant of furlough was filed only on 21.12.2023. He submits that the same would be decided by the respondent within a period of two weeks from date.

In view of the statement made by the learned Additional Standing Counsel for the respondent, no orders are required to be passed at this stage.

The petition is dismissed with liberty to file afresh in case any grievance remains.
