The present is a petition filed by the Petitioner - Mr. Sanjay Kumar Ray under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking production of his daughter 3.

Pursuant to the order dated, 9th January, 2025, a status report has been filed as per which, the girl was traced on 17th January, 2025 upon which she had visited AHTU's office. Her parents also identified her. She was sent to AIIMS Hospital and medical examination was conducted. Thereafter her statement was also recorded before the Magistrate at Saket Court where she stated as under:

"xxx xxx xxx "In October 2024, I went from my house to Mumbai by train. My mother was taking me to Village. My grandmother and everyone used to talk about my marriage, so I did not want to go to Village. Mumbai without informing my parents. I was staying in Gurdwara and Railway stations. On 17th January , I returned to Delhi by train. I went straight to Police Station Okhla where I was told that my parents have registered a case as I had left the house. I came to other police station as the police officers told me to go to other police station. I went there and I told them and they got me medically examined and took me to court I went at my own will. Nothing wrong has been done with me .

Thereafter, the girl was sent to one stop Sakhi center, SDM Office, Lajpat Nagar for her temporary stay

4. On 20.01.2025, the minor girl was produced before Child Welfare Committee, Kalkaji for counselling.

Observing that the minor girl had a previous history of leaving her house in May 2024, the Committee sent her for stay at Prayas Home for Girls and directed to produce her again on 07.02.2025 for counselling"

She was also produced before the CWC, Kalkaji on 20th January, 2025. She was then sent to stay at the Prayas Home for Girls with a direction to produce her again on 7th February, 2025 for counselling. 5.

The ld. Standing Counsel informs that this is the second time that she has gone missing on her own. The parents are also here. The girl upon being queried has stated that she is willing to accompany her parents. 6.

Accordingly, since she is a minor, she is permitted to accompany her parents.

The counselling before the CWC shall, however, continue. 8.

The petition is disposed of in these terms. All pending application(s), if any, are also disposed of.
