Issue notice. Mr. Anupam S. Sharma accepts notice on behalf of respondents no.2 to 4/CBI.

Mr. Rajesh Gogna accepts notice on behalf of respondent no.1/UOI and FRRO/respondent no.5.

Mr. Anupam S. Sharma submits that the petitioner in terms of the order dated 5.1.2018 joined the investigations on 19.1.2018. 4.

I may also note that alongwith the application, a letter dated 13.3.2018 of the CBI has been appended which shows that the LOC issued qua the applicant/petitioner herein was withdrawn after 15 days of the petitioner having joined the investigation.

4.1 Mr. Sharma does not dispute this fact.

Accordingly, the prayer made in the application is allowed. 5.1 The Registrar General will refund the sum of Rs.50 lacs which was deposited by the applicant/petitioner vide a Demand Draft No. "553014", dated 6.1.2018.
