By the present petition, the petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No. 409/2024 dated 21.09.2024, registered at Police Station Pandav Nagar, for offences under Sections 376/328 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, on the ground that the parties have settled their disputes.

Contrary stands have been taken by the victim on different dates.

Initially, the victim stated that she does not wish to pursue any proceedings arising out of the present FIR. 4.
Thereafter, on 23.04.2025, the victim was present in Court and stated that she does not want the FIR to be quashed. 5.
Thereafter, the victim again appeared on 29.07.2025 and The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 27/11/2025 at 15:38:41
stated that she does not want to pursue the proceedings arising out of the present FIR.

The matter was thereafter adjourned to 16.10.2025 and was thereafter adjourned for today.

Today also, the victim appears through video conferencing and again states that she wants to contest the present petition. 8.
Noting the different stands taken by the victim on different occasions, the present FIR cannot be quashed only on the ground that the parties have settled their disputes. 9.
Considering the fact that the victim has been changing her statement on different occasions before this Court, a cost of ₹20,000/- is imposed on the victim for wasting precious judicial time of the Court. The cost is directed to be deposited with the Delhi Police Welfare Society within a period of eight weeks. 10.
The present petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. Pending applications also stand disposed of.
