Learned counsel for the respondent accepts notice. 6.
Learned counsel for the respondent, on instructions, submits that he does not have any objection in extending the time period for making the arbitral award. However, according to him, the period may be extended only to the extent of 6 months from 07.01.2025. 7.

consideration the number of witnesses to be examined, the matter perhaps may not be concluded within a period of 6 months, and, therefore, in the interest of justice, the aforesaid period may be extended to 12 months. 8.
Having heard the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties and in view of the controversy involved in the instant case, the Court deems it appropriate to extend the aforesaid period for rendering the arbitral award for 9 months, with effect from 07.01.2025. 9.
With the aforesaid, the instant petition stands disposed of.
