No application for amendment of the plaint, as stated by the counsel for the plaintiff on the last date of hearing, has been filed and the counsel for the plaintiff seeks adjournment for filing the application for amendment. 3.

Suits, especially at the stage of admission, cannot be kept pending in such fashion. No reasons for not filing the application after the last order and till date are disclosed.

The suit is thus dismissed for the reasons given in the order dated 18th December, 2019, with no order as to costs.
