The present Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed seeking issuance of directions to Respondent No.1 to provide adequate protection to him from Respondents No.2 to 7. 2.

Learned counsel submits that Petitioner is Pujari at Kalkajee Mandir, where his "Bari" for performing Pooja is from 10.01.2025 till 07.02.2025. He has serious apprehension of threat to his life and liberty in view of ongoing disputes with Respondents No.2 to 7 and therefore, prays that protection be granted to him.

instructions from the Investigating Officer submits that the mobile number of concerned SHO has already been shared with the Petitioner and if and when any distress call is received from him, the same shall be promptly attended.

In view of the submissions made by learned Additional Public Prosecutor for Respondent-State, no further directions are required to be made. If any call is received from the Petitioner, prompt action be taken by the Respondent -State.
