% 18.05.2016 The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for setting aside the order dated 16.12.2015 passed by the Appellate Court upholding the order passed by the Trial Court dated 03.11.2015.

The petition came up for hearing on 15.01.2016, when at the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the matter was adjourned to 02.02.2016. On 02.02.2016, again, at the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the matter was adjourned to 16.03.2016.

In the meanwhile, the matter was taken up on

29.02.2016 on an application filed by the petitioner being Crl.M.A.No.3696/2016 for taking on record a demand draft to the tune of Rs.2.5 lakh.

Notice was issued in the application to respondent No.2 returnable for 16.03.2016, date already fixed in the matter.

On 16.03.2016, notice was again directed to be issued as the earlier notice was returned with the report that no such person was residing at the said address.

However, no steps were taken by the petitioner.

Today again, despite the matter being called thrice, there is no appearance on behalf of the petitioner.

The petitioner does not seem to be interested in prosecuting the matter.

Dismissed for non prosecution.
