The present petition has been filed under Section 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of BNSS seeking issuance of a direction in the nature of Habeas Corpus for production of Ms. XXX, who is stated to be the legally wedded wife of the petitioner. 2.

Ms. XXX has been produced in Court. She confirms that she is married to the petitioner and states that she would like to go with petitioner.

Respondent no.4, who is the father of Ms. XXX, is also present in Court along with his sister. petitioner and wants to go with him, we dispose of this petition by allowing her to do so.

At this stage, the learned counsel for the petitioner expresses apprehension on the safety of the petitioner and Ms. XXX. They can approach the concerned SHO, who shall, on being approached in this regard, give the phone number of the Beat Officer to the petitioner and Ms. XXX. In case of any emergency, they may call the Beat Officer, and the Beat Officer would ensure that adequate protection is granted to the petitioner and Ms. XXX.
